AEW will introduce a new chapter to its pay-per-view calendar with the inaugural AEW Redemption 7/26/26 event, which takes place before the company’s highly anticipated All In: London PPV. All In 2026 will emanate on August 30 in London, and on the road to the PPV, the promotion will deliver the first edition of Redemption.
The inaugural PPV will emanate on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event will also mark the first AEW PPV to be held in Montreal. Both World titles will be contested at the PPV, with the winner defending them at All In London against Will Ospreay and Mercedes Moné, the winners of the Owen Hart Tournament. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will defend the title against Kevin Knight, while Thekla will defend the AEW Women’s World title against the winner of the Casino Gauntlet match, Willow Nightingale.
AEW National Champion Mark Davis is set to put his title on the line against Andrade El Ídolo, who secured the championship opportunity by defeating Jake Doyle on Dynamite. Meanwhile, Kyle Fletcher will defend the AEW International Championship against Bandido. Elsewhere on the card, Chris Jericho is bringing back his iconic “Painmaker” character for a rematch with Tommaso Ciampa, who emerged victorious in their previous encounter at the Beach Break TV special. The tag team division will also be in the spotlight as AEW World Tag Team Champions Cage and Cope (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) defend their titles against Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and PAC).
The bout was made official after the challengers attacked the champions during the July 16 edition of Dynamite, prompting Cage and Cope to issue a challenge for Redemption. Meanwhile, Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay) take on The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) in a tag team match, and Hikaru Shida defends the AEW TBS title against Maya World. AEW will celebrate 80 years of The Rougeau wrestling dynasty; on the other hand, a Six-way Ladder match to determine the #1 contender for the AEW International title will also take place in Montreal. Additionally, Bang Bang Gang (Jay White and Juice Robinson) and The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) will collide in a Double Chain Tag team match.
Kenny Omega warned his friend, Will Ospreay, that Death Riders are bad influences who do not have his best interests at heart. Will Ospreay will listen to Kenny Omega and stay away from Jon Moxley. Now that Ospreay used the Death Riders to earn his world title opportunity, he will leave Moxley high and dry in this match, allowing Bucks to get momentum for a tag title opportunity at All In. Hikaru Shida just won the vacant TBS Title in a Survival of the Fittest Match after Willow Nightingale relinquished it due to injury. Although Maya World has been picking up ample babyface momentum after being the runner-up in the Owen Hart Tournament, AEW cannot overlook the marquee match that could take place between rivals, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander, for the TBS Title at All In.
