Tommaso Ciampa made his shocking debut on AEW Dynamite as he confronted Mark Briscoe by answering his Open Challenge for the TNT Championship. So he’ll be facing Briscoe for the title in his in-ring debut on Collision this week. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether the Psycho Killer will end up winning the title. There’s a noticeable lack of stipulations and violence for this final Texas show. The Grizzled Young Vets took umbrage with Ortiz needing a fastball to defeat them. Zack Gibson and James Drake have challenged Kingston and Ortiz to a rematch with weapons. A bloody or weapons-filled street fight could be on the cards.
The AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale defend the titles against Julia Hart & Skye Blue. They have been feuding for quite a while now, so fans are excited to see who’ll come out on top in the bout. Fantasy booking, but the idea of the two Northern Brits bringing some British staples as weaponry and their New Yorker opponents doing the same with a New York-themed arsenal to Texas… It would be a fun and literal culture clash.
