Monday Night Raw 5/18/26 will serve as the go-home show for the May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Three matches have been announced for the show, and fans are expecting more match announcements this Monday.
Last week’s Red brand show addressed the aftermath of the Backlash PLE. Now, with the Clash in Italy only one week away, feuds are set to pick up pace, likely resulting in matches announced for the show. Pearce also announced a ‘Trios tornado tag’ where the team of El Grande Americano and Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo) will take on “Original” Grande Americano and Los Americanos Hermanos (Bruto & Julio Credo) in a Six-Man Tornado Tag Team match. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige and Brie Bella have been surrounded by contenders who want to snatch the title away from the veterans. Since capturing the title at WrestleMania 42, Paige and Bella are set to defend it for the first time this Monday against Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez.
This title defense comes in the backdrop of the presence of the Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend), who have made it clear that they want the title back, even teasing a clash for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Oba Femi’s open challenge will continue on Raw this week. Despite General Manager Adam Pearce informing Femi last week that no one is willing to answer the challenge, Femi walked backstage and dragged Los Garzas (Angel & Berto), defeating them with ease, to continue the open challenge. After the attack by the Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan) on Paige and Brie Bella. WWE announced a clash where the Women’s Tag Team titles will be on the line. Reigning Champions Paige and Brie Bella will take on Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. Additionally, Oba Femi’s open challenge will continue next week, even though, as revealed by General Manager Adam Pearce, no one is willing to answer the challenge.
Jacob Fatu is going the right way about getting a proper Bloodline hiding. If we forget all his naughty behavior in the build-up to WWE Backlash, there’s still enough to him to get a good slap on the wrist. Last week alone, he refused to acknowledge Roman Reigns – naughty. Slapped Jey Uso – naughty naughty. Threw Jimmy Uso into a barricade – naughty, naughty, naughty. Finally, he put Reigns through a table and applied the Tonga Death Grip – naughty times a million. The Bloodline will be out for, well, blood on WWE Raw. And only the Samoan Werewolves will do. Finally, Sol Ruca is going to get into it for real with Becky Lynch very soon. JD McDonagh owes Finn Balor one for launching his trademark massive head into a wall. And all the fake luchadors involved in the El Grande Americano situation have just two more weeks to try and convince WWE Raw fans that they gotta fly to Mexico for their big Mask vs. Mask match.
