The highly anticipated show WWE Smackdown 7/10/26 is set to air live from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Multiple stars, including CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Oba Femi, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton and Gunther, are listed as featured superstars.

‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk returned on Raw in Chicago to replace Cody Rhodes, who failed to get medical clearance after an attack by Gunther, and battled Sami Zayn for the Undisputed title. Punk managed to defeat Sami and capture his eighth world title in his first match since WrestleMania 42. With SummerSlam on the horizon, the newly crowned Champion is set to appear this Friday as reports of his SummerSlam showdown with Cody Rhodes continue to grab headlines, and Sami cutting a scathing promo after the title loss.

Last week, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga confronted Finn Balor backstage and launched a brutal attack on the former Judgment Day member. Following the attack, WWE announced a singles match between Balor and Tama Tonga for this week’s SmackDown in Oklahoma. During last week’s show, Carmelo Hayes interrupted Trick Williams and Lil Yachty. He called for a title match between the two, noting how the United States Championship has been a workhorse title for those who are hungry. Lil Yachty asked the crowd whether Hayes deserved another title opportunity and eventually agreed to give Hayes a match on the July 10 show, but noted that it would be a non-title bout since Hayes had already used up his previous championship chance.

The segment ended with Williams dropping Hayes with a backhanded slap, while Hayes responded with a dive from the ropes to take down Williams as he was leaving. The two will now collide in a non-title match. Finn Balor and Tama Tonga were founding members of The Bullet Club back in New Japan Pro Wrestling. During their time in NJPW, they were notorious, winning titles and bouts by any means necessary. Later on, Talla would join the Bullet Club, following in the footsteps of his brother. What was once an undeniably dominant duo who shared the ring through thick and thin find themselves at odds with one another, and it all goes down this Friday night.

To quite put it simply, Hayes demanded his rightful rematch for the United States Championship. Well, Yachty went on the defense and said he didn’t deserve it. That said, Trick will be in Oklahoma City, and they will be in a match one-on-one next week. Unfortunately, it won’t be for the title. Lil Yachty continued to say that when Melo finds out he can’t get the job done even when the stakes aren’t high, he can back off. Trick further reinforced the notion that even back in NXT, he was better than the “Chosen One,” and he will prove it again, as he slapped Carmelo Hayes right across the face. Melo had the last laugh, pounding on Trick to gain momentum ahead of their big non-title match. These two have a tremendous history together, and it seems like we’ll see the first of many more chapters this coming Friday night.
