Match to determine Josh Alexander’s challenger for the IMPACT World Championship at Bound For Glory
On October 7, IMPACT Wrestling will present its biggest PPV of the year. But who is going to challenge for the IMPACT World Championship? We’ll find out this Thursday when six of IMPACT’s top stars square off in a 6-way elimination match. Eddie Edwards, Steve Maclin, Moose, Sami Callihan, Bandido and Rich Swann will be in the ring and only one can be in the main event of Bound For Glory.
Kenny King vs. heath
For weeks, Heath has been a thorn in Honor No More’s side, unleashing a series of attacks that have foiled the plans of the group led by Eddie Edwards. Last Friday at Emergence, Kenny King set up a trap to finish Heath once and for all, but a distraction from a fight between Sami Callihan and Steve Maclin allowed Heath to finish him off once again.
Later in the night, Honor No More’s fortunes changed when they defeated the Bullet Club in a No Disqualification match, allowing them to remain a group and earning them a future shot at the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship. With revenge on both competitors’ minds, King takes on Heath this Thursday.
Mike Bailey (c) vs. Chris Bey for the X-Division Championship
Mike Bailey has defined the term “wrestling champion” in his reign as X-Division Champion, a title he won in an Ultimate X match at Slammiversary. Last week, Bailey made two successful title defenses in the span of 24 hours, one against Rocky Romero and one against Jack Evans at Emergence. Now, Bailey turns attention from him to former X-Division Champion Chris Bey as the two square off in a title match on Thursday.
Black Taurus vs. Laredo Kid vs. King Horus vs. trey miguel
This Thursday, a Fatal 4-Way will take place between Black Taurus, Laredo Kid, Rey Horus and Trey Miguel. With IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest event of the year just seven weeks away, there’s nothing these athletes won’t do in an attempt to secure their place in the show of shows. As Horus looks to bounce back from his tough loss to Bandido at Emergence, Black Taurus, Laredo Kid and Trey Miguel will resume hostilities from this week’s match on IMPACT Digital Media, in which Kid and Miguel defeated Decay in a tag team match.
