The 9/20/25 episode of AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl will air from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. AEW’s All Out pay-per-view will start in less than an hour, as the company will kick things off with their Tailgate Brawl pre-show. People have been wondering why it’s taking place and now the reason behind its inception has been revealed.
According to Fightful Select, AEW’s Tailgate Brawl pre-show is part of the company’s agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery. The segment was specifically worked into the deal and will air as part of AEW’s WBD programming. In addition to that, there will also be a separate post-show produced for fans, but that portion will air outside of WBD platforms. “The Tailgate Brawl is a part of AEW’s deal with WBD and was worked in to their agreement. There will be a separate post show outside of WBD properties.” The one-hour AEW Tailgate Brawl pre-show will air on September 20th, 2 PM ET, on TNT and also stream on HBO MAX. The show features Harley Cameron, Mina Shirakawa, Queen Aminata, and Willow Nightingale facing Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford, and Triangle of Madness and more bouts.
By weaving the Tailgate Brawl pre-show into its deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, AEW is showing how to make the most out of their deal with WBD. Since All Out’s such a highly anticipated event, the Tailgate Brawl is a great way to get the action rolling before the main show stars. Two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Garcia sided with Jon Moxley and the Death Riders by attacking Darby Allin. Garcia’s allegiance has been unwavering since then, and he has decided to turn his attention to a group that’s been a big problem for the Death Riders, The Opps. In calling out The Opps, Garcia specifically mentioned Shibata, as they have history, with each man owning a victory over the other. Now, they’ll fight again in a rubber match, although the stakes will be far different with Garcia running with the Death Riders.
