The Stamford-based promotion is ready to deliver the second part of the 41st edition of WrestleMania, which is scheduled to take place on April 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA. The first part of the PLE concluded on April 19 at the same venue.
The promotion has announced a stacked card for night two, which features the Women’s World title clash, WWE Women’s Tag Team title clash, an Intercontinental title match, and much more. The main event of the show will be the Undisputed WWE title clash between Cody Rhodes and John Cena. A fatal four-way match is also set for the PLE, where Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker will defend his title against Penta, Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio. Two Judgment Day members will face off, as Penta aims to capture his first title, while Breakker looks to extend his reign. There is a also lot of bad blood between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest which reached a boiling point following their interactions in the men’s Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber PLE, in both instances, Priest eliminated Drew, reigniting the old wound from last year’s WrestleMania. The two stars are now set to battle at the ‘Grandest Stage’ in a Sin City street fight.
Ahead of Night Two of the PLE, has provided the current betting odds for the stacked card on April 20. These odds point towards who the oddsmakers believe will emerge victorious at the ‘Grandest Stage’. Cena is favored to win against Rhodes in the main event, while WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are heavy favorites to win against the team of Lyra Valkyria and Bayley’s replacement (Bayley has been removed from the match due to injury). A fatal four-way match is also set for the PLE, where Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker will defend his title against Penta, Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio. Two Judgment Day members will face off, as Penta aims to capture his first title, while Breakker looks to extend his reign.
WWE organised a gauntlet match to determine the number one contenders for the women’s tag team championship last week. The winners were supposed to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on night two of WrestleMania 41. The reigning Women’s Intercontinental champion, Lyra Valkyria, and Bayley defeated five other teams to book their ticket for the show of shows. However, after a backstage attack on Bayley on night one of the event, Raw’s General Manager has given Lyra 24 hours to find a new partner as Bayley is not medically cleared to compete. After the incident, reports emerged that the plans are for Becky Lynch to join forces with Lyra as of Saturday. An update from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio stated, “They did an angle before WrestleMania where Bayley was laid out. This is the return of Becky Lynch, she is going to be replacing Bayley against Lyra.
Becky Lynch has not been a part of WWE programming since her loss against Liv Morgan in a steel cage match last year. She was seen earlier this week at the Hall of Fame along with her husband, Seth Rollins, which has added fuel to the fire. It was also reported that WWE was planning to replace Bayley with Lynch for several weeks and the latter is not injured. Bayley is respected by the entire locker room and they all felt sympathy for the star following her exit from the show. The prospect of Becky Lynch making her return has been received positively by the fans and they cannot wait to see her in action yet again. Becky’s return during this match will also make the most sense as she can reignite her feud with Liv Morgan.
