The 39th Survivor Series is set for this Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The event will feature talent from both Raw and SmackDown and will include the two WarGames matches in the men’s and women’s divisions. WWE Survivor Series 2025 is the last major Premium Live Event for the global juggernaut this year.
This year’s Survivor Series will be the fourth in a row to feature a WarGames match. It will also be the first to take place outdoors, the first held in a stadium, the first hosted at a Major League Baseball venue, and only the second Survivor Series in California, following the 2018 event in Los Angeles. Following a huge year that saw WWE launch two new premium live events alongside several returning favorites, the company is now set to present its final main roster PLE of 2025: Survivor Series WarGames.
In the men’s WarGames, the team of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), and Roman Reigns will take on the team led by Paul Heyman, which consists of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar. On the other hand, the team of Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and AJ Lee will battle the team of Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka), and Becky Lynch in the women’s WarGames match. Both matches feature multiple storylines and underlying tension, and it remains to be seen which rivalries will come to the forefront and who will ultimately emerge victorious. The babyfaces have won the advantage match and will have the upper hand in the match.
During John Cena’s final Raw appearance, Dominik Mysterio confronted him and asked him for a rematch for the Intercontinental title. Cena accepted the challenge and immediately offered him a rematch. However, Mysterio refused and instead asked for the rematch in his home turf of San Diego. Cena once again didn’t back down and accepted, making the rematch official for his final WWE PLE appearance at the Survivor Series PLE. On the November 17 episode, Nikki Bella, after betraying the Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, launched another attack on her, signaling her desire for a title opportunity. WWE later made the match official, setting up a showdown between the two former friends for the Women’s World Championship. Vaquer is determined to teach Nikki a lesson; on the other hand, the Hall of Famer is looking to cause the upset and capture the World title after such a long time.
Logan Paul has aligned himself with perhaps the greatest wrestling manager of all time, Paul Heyman, and his faction, The Vision, heading into the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025. However, everyone is aware of The Maverick’s antics and unpredictable nature. Succumbing to the pressure imposed by the opposite squad, Logan Paul might walk out on his team and leave them at a 4-5 disadvantage in the WarGames match. Charlotte Flair made it clear that she did not like Rhea Ripley or wanted to team up with her in the Women’s WarGames match. However, some turn of events and her friendship with Alexa Bliss finally led The Queen to join their squad for Survivor Series. However, tensions could run high between Flair and Ripley during the match at the Premium Live Event, leading Flair to knock down Mami and betray her team in the process.
Roman Reigns clarified to CM Punk and Cody Rhodes that he only joined the WarGames match for the sake of his cousins, The Usos. On the go-home edition of RAW for Survivor Series, tensions were running high between the three WWE superstars, which could explode at the Premium Live Event. This could see The OTC laying out both of his previous rivals and betraying his team during the WarGames showdown. The Vision, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre were joined by Brock Lesnar, brought to the squad by his former advocate, Paul Heyman, for the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025 PLE. The Beast is rarely seen teaming up with other superstars and is often his own man. His self-centred nature and dislike for people might lead to complications between him and his team, which could see Lesnar laying some F-5s on his own teammates at Survivor Series.
