The July 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to serve as a very interesting watch. The show is pre-taped from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after Monday Night Raw.

Multiple top stars, including Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Randy Orton, Solo Sikoa, Chelsea Green, and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, are being advertised for the show. The promotion has announced a stacked card for the show, including multiple tag team clashes on WWE SmackDown. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair battle B-Fab & Michin and The Secret Hervice for the final spot in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way at Evolution. Expect chaos and high stakes on WWE SmackDown! The sinister faction takes on Chris Sabin, Montez Ford, Johnny Gargano, and Berto in a chilling showdown on WWE SmackDown. Two of WWE’s most electrifying luchadors team up to take on the rising threat of Fraxiom in a fast-paced tag team clash on WWE SmackDown. Bloodline tensions boil over as Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso collide with Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo in a brutal tag team encounter on WWE SmackDown.

Trish Stratus hasn’t competed in a one-on-one title match since Unforgiven 2006, when she defeated Lita in her hometown of Toronto to win her seventh WWE Women’s Championship. That match marked her retirement as a full-time performer and has long been remembered as one of WWE’s most emotional farewells. Now, almost two decades later, the “Diva of the Decade” returns with a shot to add another iconic moment to her Hall of Fame legacy. While she briefly teamed with Stratton at Elimination Chamber 2025 to defeat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae, they’ll be standing on opposite sides this time with the title on the line.
