After the explosive fallout from WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLI, all eyes turn to Friday Night SmackDown as the blue brand heads to Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 7, 2025.

With two new champions crowned last weekend, one of whom now holds the top title on SmackDown, the WWE Universe is bracing for another night of high-stakes action and revenge-fueled confrontations. The road to Survivor Series: WarGames is heating up, and tensions across the roster are reaching their breaking point. Expect championship implications, unfinished business, and a few shocking twists as rivalries continue to evolve in unpredictable ways. From grudge matches born out of betrayal to a major title defense already confirmed, this week’s episode promises to deliver the chaos and drama fans have come to expect from WWE’s most unpredictable brand.

During a backstage segment, the MFTs ran into Rey Fenix. Solo Sikoa asked if Fenix wanted to fight, but Fenix said he didn’t, prompting Solo to tell him to go “trick or treat or something.” Fenix then climbed onto a production crate to call out Talla Tonga, declaring he wanted a match with him. Sikoa warned that it was basically his funeral, as Fenix slapped Tanga, which made Tonga angry. Solo stepped in, telling Tonga to calm down and focus on tonight, assuring him he could deal with Fenix next week. The promotion made the match official later in the October 31st show. Ilja Dragunov, after another successful title defense last week, will continue the United States title open challenge on this week’s show. His opponent is yet to be decided and will be confirmed during the WWE SmackDown live.

Tensions continue to rise within the WWE Women’s Tag Team division as Nia Jax sets her sights on Charlotte Flair this Friday on SmackDown. For weeks, Jax has tried to expose supposed cracks in the partnership between Flair and Alexa Bliss, claiming both women have a history of betrayal when alliances no longer serve them. Last week, Jax faced Bliss in a dominant showing, nearly securing victory with her trademark Annihilator. However, interference from Flair turned the tide, The Queen distracted Jax just long enough for Bliss to capitalize, tripping Nia from the ropes and rolling her up for the upset win. Now, the “Irresistible Force” is out for revenge and aims to make an example of Flair when they meet one-on-one. With emotions running high and alliances being tested, fans can expect an explosive showdown between two of WWE’s most powerful and decorated female superstars.

Last week on SmackDown, tensions flared backstage when Chelsea Green confronted The Beautiful Madness and issued a bold challenge for the championship. The fearless contender wasted no time demanding an opportunity, and to everyone’s surprise, the champion accepted on the spot. The heated exchange unfolded during a segment featuring Alba Fyre, Nick Aldis, Giulia, and Kiana James, creating a tense atmosphere that hinted at future rivalries. With egos clashing and championship gold on the line, the upcoming match promises high drama and fierce competition as Green looks to dethrone one of the most dominant champions on SmackDown.
