The upcoming November 28 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of Survivor Series. Stars set to clash on the PLE will meet for the final time on the Blue brand this Friday.

Multiple big names, including Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, Chelsea Green, Shinsuke Nakamura, Charlotte Flair, and Jey Uso, among others, are set to compete on the show. The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the Survivor Series go-home show, including a five-on-five Traditional Survivor Series Elimination match. The November 28 episode of SmackDown was pre-taped during last week’s show at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. This was done in order to give talents time to celebrate Thanksgiving.

During the pre-taping of this week’s show, both Miz and R-Truth vied for a spot in the tournament to replace Sheamus. While R-Truth was speaking, Miz claimed the spot for himself, officially returning to the tournament. Miz participated in the first-round match of the tournament. However, he suffered defeat at the hands of ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso. With the newfound opportunity, Miz battled LA Knight in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Sadly for the A-Lister, he once again suffered defeat, failing to capitalize on the opportunity to face his storied rivals in Cena. On the other hand, Knight is one step closer to securing one of the biggest matches of his career.

My Family Tree, better known simply as MFT, has reigned supreme over SmackDown for most of 2025. Under the watchful eye of their patriarch, Solo Sikoa, MFT has caused devastation and destroyed absolutely everyone in their way, setting their sights on championship gold and putting everyone on edge. However, a collective of superstars has had enough of their terror. With Sami Zayn leading the charge, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Motor City Machine Guns, and Rey Fenix vowed to end this period of tyranny once and for all. Last week on SmackDown, Zayn would rally the troops, making it crystal clear that they intend to get this done and over with in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match.
