WWE will arrive in Salt Lake City, Utah, this weekend to deliver the November edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. This will be the fourth edition of SNME in 2025, the show last emanated in July from Atlanta, Georgia, and featured Goldberg’s retirement match.
The fourth edition of WWE SNME in 2025 is set to emanate live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The show will be followed by Survivor Series: WarGames, which will be the final main roster PLE of 2025. During the opening moments of the October 20 show of Raw, GM Adam Pearce revealed that Rollins was undergoing major surgery and then stripped him of the World Heavyweight Championship. Perace then announced that while CM Punk is the number one contender for the title, the show will feature a Battle Royal to find his opponent. In the main event of the show, Jey Uso outlasted everyone to win the Battle Royal and secure his spot against Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday.
In the aftermath of the October 17 SmackDown main event title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, which ended in disqualification after a lengthy brawl and a short match, GM Nick Aldis then announced a title rematch between the two for SNME. Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE title against McIntyre in Salt Lake against a familiar foe in the Scottish Warrior. Jade Cargill rushed to WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton’s aid on the October 24 show of SmackDown, after the latter was being attacked by Giulia and Kiana James. However, after taking care of the attack, Cargill turned off Stratton, dismantling the Champion until security arrived to get some seperation. After turning heel for the first time in her WWE career, Cargill will now battle Stratton for the Women’s title at SNME in a rematch, with raised stakes.
During the October 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, Penta and Rusev battled in a number one contenders’ match for the Intercontinental title. However, the match ended in double disqualification as Los Americanos (El Grande, Rayo & Bravo Americano) attacked. Irked by the situation, GM Adam Pearce knew who the mastermind was behind the attack. Pearce confronted Dominik Mysterio backstage and informed him that he will now have to defend the IC title in a triple-threat match against Rusev and Penta this Saturday.
