The August 20th edition of WWE NXT is set to be an action-packed night, addressing the aftermath of last week’s events while setting the stage for future storylines. Fans can catch all the excitement live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL, at 8 PM Eastern on USA Network. Ava wanted to ensure that people who had not previously competed for the crown had a chance this time around. When the draw began, Ava selected three names: Wren Sinclair, Adriana Rizzo, and Sol Ruca. Wren Sinclair has been on fire recently. Her victory at the Great American Bash helped Wren qualify for the NQCC and also helped Charlie Dempsey get a Heritage Cup title match, which he eventually won. Her presence alone should elevate the Gauntlet Elimination match to new heights. On August 20th’s NXT episode, triple threat match will determine the #1 contender for the NXT Championship. Joe Hendry, Wes Lee, and Pete Dunne will compete, with the winner facing Ethan Page at No Mercy. Hendry is favored due to his popularity and feud with Page. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will defend her title against the winner of a six-woman Gauntlet Eliminator Match featuring Wren Sinclair, Adrianna Rizzo, Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, Kendal Grey, and Karmen Petrovic. The victor will challenge Perez at No Mercy. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will face Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a tag team match, a continuation from their earlier encounter at Hank & Tank’s Great American Bash BBQ. Lola Vice will battle Wendy Choo, with Vice looking to rebound after a failed NXT Women’s Championship bid, while Choo continues to disturb the NXT women’s division. Additionally, new NXT Tag Team Champions Chase U (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland) will have a celebration, and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis will compete against Dion Lennox.Match Card:
