A Pub Rules match has been included in the lineup for October 10, 2023, episode of NXT. In a digital exclusive posted on social media last Friday, The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) were shown backstage at SmackDown. They issued a challenge to Gallus for a Pub Rules match.Ridge Holland described it as a six-man tag match with no rules, where Tyler Bate would team up with Butch and Ridge Holland himself. Butch expressed their intention to come to NXT and deliver an exciting and intense match.A previous Pub Rules match occurred in NXT last fall, resulting in Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeating Gallus. During last weekend’s NXT No Mercy event, Butch suffered a loss in his NXT Heritage Cup match against Noam Dar due to interference from Gallus. During the October 3 episode of NXT, Butch and Bate defeated Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey). The October 10, 2023, episode of WWE NXT is set to compete directly with AEW Dynamite’s “Title Tuesday” edition, making it a noteworthy clash between the two wrestling promotions.Match Card:
