UFC will hold the weigh-ins for a re-arranged UFC 303 PPV card on Friday, June 28, from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Alex Pereira and Jiri Prozachka step in on a short notice to fight in the main event light heavyweight title fight. They will have the task to come at or under 205 lbs championship weight limit. Another light heavyweight contest on the main card will see Anthony Smith facing Roman Dolidze. Three new fights are added to UFC 303 PPV card including a new main event and co-main event. There have been rumblings about massive changes coming to UFC 303 card in the last 11 days since UFC canceled press conference in Dublin, Ireland. However, last week, things were considered moving in the right direction with the injury to Conor McGregor not considered threatning. However, things became tense once again this Wednesday with MMA Reporter Ariel Helwani tweeting that feelers were sent out once again for UFC 303. UFC President Dana White took to social media on Thursday evening to confirm that McGregor is injured and, therefore, his fight against Michael Chandler is cancelled. White announced that UFC Light Heavyweight Championship match between Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka will be the new main event of UFC 303. Ian Garry and MVP from welterweight division, Deigo Lopes and Brian Ortega from featherweight, and Macy Chiasson and Mayra Bueno Silva from women’s bantamweight will compete on the main card and will be in focus during the weigh-in.
