WWE NXT Battleground 2023 event is an NXT PLE to take place on May 28, 2023. The event is set to take place at Tsonga Center in Lowell, MA.
New NXT Women’s Champion will be crowned at the show in a tournament final. A rematch for NXT Championship between Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker is also set for the show.

- This is the sixth event in the “Battleground” series, but the first one under the NXT banner. It is also the first Battleground event to take place since 2017.
- This is the third NXT PLE show in the year 2023 and its sixth special show overall.
- The event was announced on March 30, 2023, by NXT Head Shawn Michaels during Stand & Deliver event press conference.
- The event will go head-to-head against AEW Double or Nothing 2023 event, making them the first AEW and WWE PPV/PLE to go head-to-head.
