- This is the fourteenth annual Sacrifice event from IMPACT Wrestling.
- Also, this is the fourth Sacrifice event to be aired as a monthly IMPACT Plus special.
- The 2023 edition will be the first time the IMPACT Sacrifice event will occur outside of the United States.
- Mickie James vs Jordynne Grace match for IMPACT Knockouts title was set for this event. However, James suffered an injury and was unable to defend the title. IMPACT then announced that the title situation would be addressed at the event.
