AEW Rampage episode of October 21, 2022, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed will fight Varsity Athletes in a match where both their titles and their catchphrase are at stake. Anthony Bowens and Max Caster had made “Scissor Me, Daddy” phrase popular with Billy Gunn. However, Mark Sterling got it trademarked and got the complete rights of the phrase in professional wrestling.

Bowens and Caster will not have to fight Varsity Athletes – Josh Woods and Tony Nese in a tag team match. In order to get the trademark rights on the line, they had to give a title shot to Varsity Athletes.
