AEW Dynamite 6/25/25 will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX. The show will take place at the Accesso ShoWare Center at Kent, Wash, and fans can look forward to a lot of great action at the event.
Kota Ibushi made his shocking return during the June 21st episode of AEW Collision and took out Josh Alexander and Kazuchika Okada. He is now set to make his in-ring return against Trent Beretta on Dynamite this week, so we’ll have to see how Ibushi performs in his first AEW match since November 2023. Bandido, Roderick Strong, Konosuke Takeshita, and Mark Briscoe will be facing off against each other to be the first entrant into the Men’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In: Texas on July 12th. AEW All In: Texas will also feature a Women’s Casino Gauntlet match and this week’s Dynamite will see Athena face off against Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Thunder Rosa to determine who will be the first entrant into the women’s match. The Hurt Syndicate will be making an appearance on AEW Dynamite this week. After attacking Mistico on Dynamite last week, we’ll have to see what the faction will have to say on the show.
Before Kota Ibushi’s injury, there were questions about whether The Golden Star was still the same incredible, mesmerizing athlete of his prime. Ibushi’s initial AEW run consisted of only four matches before injury. Each of these was a multi-man match. Ibushi’s Performances were entertaining. Ibushi post-Blood and Guts even threw himself into thumbtacks for fun. There was a memorable spot in the Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight, Ringside, on a bike with a lead pipe (sounds like a game of Clue). Ibushi’s taken off ring rust with performances for GLEAT and other smaller promotions in Japan up until February of this year. Against a seasoned veteran and workhorse like Trent Barretta, Ibushi has a strong dance partner. We’re seeing what the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion can do. And with Dynamite 300 next week and the return of The Golden Lovers for tag team action, there’s going to be some post-match intrigue.
The women’s 4-way match should feature the latest development in the story between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander. The Hurt Syndicate need challengers for their tag team gold at All In, so perhaps we’ll find out who that is tonight. Just like with the Casino Gauntlets, I suspect this will turn into a “get everyone on the card” story for All In where there are multiple teams coming after Bob Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. At the very least, JetSpeed has a bone to pick with them, and it sounds like Nick Wayne and Christian Cage also want the belts. The losses are piling up for Anthony Bowens, who is is frustrated with the way his singles run is going in AEW. Will Bowens consider ditching Daddy Ass and/or crawling back to Max Caster? Max is actually more over with the fans than Bowens is thanks to the Best Wrestler Alive open challenge gimmick where he is regularly squashed. let us take a look at the match card and segment for the upcoming June 25th episode of AEW Dynamite.
