Before the show began, Jon Cruz came to the ring and yelled, “How’s it going, Albuquerque?” Then he said, “I don’t really care!” He also said Breaking Bad was the worst TV show ever and that he just wanted to win and leave. Manny Lemons defeated Jon Cruz. At one point, Cruz jumped off the top rope but missed. Lemons went to his fanny pack and pulled out a lemon. But Cruz took it and smashed it with his elbow. Then, Lemons used his finishing move called the “Lemon Drop” and pinned Cruz to win the match.
The show kicked off with Tony Schiavone introducing TNT Champion Adam Cole, who joined the commentary team at ringside. Tony Schiavone introduced FTR and Daniel Garcia & Nigel McGuinness, who are set to face off at Double or Nothing. FTR offered Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness a chance to back out. FTR said they viewed Garcia like a son, and warned that McGuinness wouldn’t have a commentary desk to hide behind this time. Garcia responded that he used to care about FTR and still does, despite calling them selfish. He said he was fighting for those tired of FTR’s actions, including Tony Schiavone, Daddy Magic, and Adam Copeland. Garcia motivated McGuinness by telling him he still had it. McGuinness demanded that FTR agree to never lay hands on him or Schiavone again. If they did, he said it would be “Top Guys out… for good.” Dax then insulted the crowd and taunted Nigel. He slapped Nigel’s face, prompting Garcia and McGuinness to lock both FTR members in submission holds. Dax and Cash tapped out. McGuinness declared that everything would end at Double or Nothing.
Konosuke Takeshita, Rocky Romero, and Trent Beretta defeated Bandido and The Outrunners. The match included a synchronized triple suplex spot by the babyfaces. Rocky jumped off the top rope to assist a Jackal Driver move by Trent and Takeshita. Lance Archer and Don Callis joined commentary for this match. Kyle Fletcher defeated Jay Lethal. After the match, Josh Alexander and Takeshita attacked Lethal. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong made the save. Adam Cole later said that The Don Callis Family needed to be taught a lesson.Paragon (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) defeated Zack Gibson & James Drake. Strong pinned Gibson after hitting Total Elimination. Adam Cole then challenged The Don Callis Family to a match at Double or Nothing.
Alexander defeated AR Fox with the C4 Spike. Commentary mentioned “Luscious” Lenny St. Clair (Luther’s early ring name). After the match, Don Callis accepted the challenge for Double or Nothing: Kyle Fletcher, Takeshita & Josh Alexander vs. Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly. Mercedes Moné retained her TBS Championship by making Isis tap out to the Statement Maker. After the match, Jamie Hayter confronted Moné, but security separated them. Mistico, Templario, and Mascara Dorada defeated Volador Jr., Magnus, and Rugido. Mascara Dorada pinned Magnus after hitting a shooting star press.
