All Elite Wrestling heads to the Palmetto State for a special three-hour edition of AEW Dynamite and Collision 5/6/26 . The weekly two-hour show of Dynamite will be followed by a one-hour AEW Collision immediately after. This makes for a special extended wrestling event airing this Wednesday on TBS and HBO Max.
TNT Champion Kevin Knight called out AEW Champion Darby Allin last week, and now, after Knight’s victory over MJF, where he successfully defended his TNT Championship, he will battle Allin for the AEW World title tonight. On the other hand, following his win in the tag team match over The Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta last Saturday, Juice Robinson will take on Jon Moxley in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator. After failing to dethrone the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, The Divine Dominion, last Wednesday, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander will take on Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron, as they look to get back into the win column.
For the third week running, AEW World Champion, Darby Allin, is willing to risk everything against a man with Jet speed momentum. It’s the AEW World Champion vs. the TNT Champion. Kevin Knight scored the biggest victory of his career last week against the former world champion, MJF. Learning from their past encounter in El Paso, Texas, Knight outsmarted and outskilled The Devil. Week by week, The Jet has proved his stratospheric potential isn’t metaphorical. Earlier this year, Swerve Strickland said Knight could be a world champion in the years to come. Well, having won the AEW World Trios Championship twice and holding the TNT Championship, both wrestlers will make you believe the upset is possible. Then again, Knight did already upset Allin during the Continental Classic last year.
Additionally, Orange Cassidy and Dax Harwood are set to face off in a Double Jeopardy match with high stakes on the line. If Cassidy picks up the win, he will earn a future opportunity at the AEW Tag Team Championships. However, if Dax comes out victorious, he will secure a shot at the AEW Trios Championships. Darby Allin probably won’t be AEW world champion for long, because he plans to defend the belt every single week until his body gives out.
