The WWE NxT 4/14/26 will take place over this week from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The special will feature top names and multiple high-stakes clashes. Tonight, the promotion will deliver Week 1 of the TV Special, where two titles will be contested, along with the continuation of the WWE Men’s Speed title tournament.
NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo will defend the title for the first time against Ethan Page, after capturing it at Stand & Deliver to become NXT’s first-ever Grand Slam Champion. On the other hand, the Men’s Speed Championship Tournament will continue, with EK Prosper battling Dorian Van Dux in a first-round tournament match. The winner of the match will face Lexis King in the finals of the vacant title tournament. Elsewhere on the card, the NXT Women’s Champion, Lola Vice, will battle former Champion Jacy Jayne in a title rematch from Stand & Deliver. Meanwhile, Joe Hendry will perform a concert. Additionally, Jaida Parker will battle Kelani Jordan in singles action, as both women look to settle the score after weeks of back and forth.
Next week will be a test to see if Tony D’Angelo can truly step up and be NXT Champion. It’s known that it is harder to keep a championship than to win one. D’Angelo will defend his title for the first time against Ethan Page; it’s his chance to prove his win wasn’t a fluke. The match will also be a chance for D’Angelo to get some revenge on Page for his actions last week. Page kicked D’Angelo out of the way and stole the pin in their tag team match against DarkState. Those actions made D’Angelo request the match against Page next week. After the announcement, Page was caught backstage and stated how he is more than ready for this match.
