WWE NXT looks to continue its momentum with the January 20, 2026, episode, set to take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The show promises an action-packed night with a debuting star battling for the NXT North American title, while stars battle to get a chance to hold the vacant NXT throne. A number one contender’s match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team titles is also announced for the show. NXT North American Champion Ethan Page is set to defend the title against the debuting Elio LeFluer. Meanwhile, per an agreement between NXT GM Ava and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella, a three-team showdown has been set for the show.
Zaruca (Sol Ruca & Zaria), Wren-QCC (Wren Sinclair & Kendal Gray), and Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) will compete in a number-one-contenders match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. During the opening of last week’s show, Ava addressed the future of the WWE NXT Championship, announcing a six-man Ladder Match for the NXT Championship scheduled for February 3, with qualifying matches set to begin tonight. The winner of the ladder match will be crowned the new top competitor in the men’s division. Two qualifiers for the six-man Ladder Match have already been confirmed for the January 20 episode: Josh Briggs will take on Shiloh Hill, while Sean Legacy will face Eli Knight in a singles bout. Keanu Carver made his official debut, while Lola Vice defeated Kelani Jordan in singles action, which was announced following their last week’s scruffle. On the other hand, Jasper Troy defeated Tavion Heights via pinfall to retain the Men’s Speed title.
Furthermore, Jaida Parker made her return to attack Blake Monroe, interrupting the former Women’s North American Champion’s promo. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Shiloh Hill to retain the TNA International title. Following last week’s fiasco, where Izzi Dame outsmarted Tatum Paxley to answer Thea Hail’s open challenge and then capture the Women’s North American title, Paxley launched a vicious attack on the new champion, Izzi Dame. In the main event of the show, Joe Hendry defeated Dion Lennox to win in the No Disqualification match. However, Tony D’Angelo attacked both men before draping Hendry over Lennox for the pin and then fought off security, trying to contain him to end the show.
