The 1/13/26 NxT show will take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. After the shocking conclusion of WWE NXT New Year’s Evil last week, the developmental brand will continue the year with another edition of the weekly show tonight.
The biggest question heading into the show revolves around the future of the NXT Championship. Oba Femi shocked the NXT Universe last week following his win over TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater in the main event of New Year’s Evil as he left the title inside the ring. With the championship’s status now uncertain, NXT General Manager Ava is set to address what comes next for the NXT Title. The promotion has revealed several marquee bouts for next week’s episode of the developmental brand, including a No Disqualification contest and a Speed Championship match, along with a singles match. The newly crowned Women’s North American Champion, Izzi Dame, is set to address her shocking title win last week, where she answered the open challenge, outsmarting Tatum Paxley and pinning Thea Hail to capture the title.
Furthermore, Joe Hendry will battle Dion Lennox in a No Disqualification match after being attacked by DarkState on the last episode of 2025. Ava made the match official during New Year’s Evil, and Hendry, during the show last week, tried to recruit OTM to help neutralize DarkState and prevent interference during the bout. In addition, Jasper Troy puts the WWE Men’s Speed Championship on the line against Tavion Heights. Elsewhere on the card, TNA International Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo is set to defend his title against Shiloh Hill. Additionally, after last week’s altercation backstage, Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan will lock horns in a singles match on the fallout show of New Year’s Evil.
